SsangYong produces South Korean SUVs with Mercedes-derived diesel engines and own-brand petrol applications. The 2.2 e-XDi diesel is the strongest tuning target across the Korando, Rexton and Actyon lineup.
The SsangYong Rexton and Korando with the 2.2 e-XDi diesel respond to Stage 1 with +40–55 Nm. The Mercedes-derived architecture is well-understood by professional tuners. Petrol models offer more limited ECU tuning potential.
SsangYong ECU tuning uses compatible professional tools. OBD access is standard for modern e-XDi diesel models. All calibrations are fully reversible.
