Unlike body kits or suspension modifications, ECU tuning directly increases power and torque, transforming the feel of the car on the road and on track. The turbocharged petrol engines found in modern coupés are among the best-mapped platforms in the tuning industry.
Top coupé tuning platforms include the BMW M4 (S58), BMW 4 Series (B48/B58), Mercedes C63 AMG (M177), Audi TT RS (2.5T), Porsche 911 Carrera (3.0T) and Ford Mustang (2.3 EcoBoost/5.0 Coyote). Stage 1 on the BMW B58 in the M240i Coupé delivers +60–80 Nm and transforms the already strong character. AMG M177 Stage 1 pushes the C63 well beyond 500 hp.
Coupé tuning is available from Stage 1 (OBD remap, no hardware changes) through to Stage 2 and beyond with supporting hardware. Many coupé owners combine ECU tuning with a performance exhaust for the full Stage 2 experience. All work is fully reversible. We recommend a fresh service before remapping to ensure best results.
